Butterfly Rest was the final project for my first Metals + Jewelry class, taught by metalworker and professor Melis Augenbaum.
the hollow ring is designed to appear as the profile of a buttefly landing on the wearer’s finger. Made using copper, sanded to 800, filed for a pillowy effect, and darkened with liver of sulfur.
